Dr. David Martin and Dr. Ralph Lyons are specialists in gastroenterology. Fully trained in adult internal medicine, they also have special training in the diagnosis, medical treatment and prevention of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder.

Our doctors are experts in the performance of endoscopic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy or EGD (endoscopy of the upper gastrointestinal tract), colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy ("Pill Camera") and ERCP (endoscopy of the pancreatic duct and bile duct system).

Drs. Martin and Lyons are especially interested in the screening for and prevention of colon cancer, the second most common cause of cancer death in the United States.

After reviewing your medical history, the doctor will perform a physical exam. He will then discuss his plans for treatment. In order to make a correct diagnosis, or to determine the most beneficial course of treatment, he may recommend additional testing. His recommendations will be designed to meet your particular needs.
