Routine appointments may be scheduled by calling the office during regular office hours. When you schedule your appointment, our staff will inquire about the reason for your visit, your referring doctor, and your insurance information. Your answers to these questions helps us to determine the urgency of your visit, and to lay the groundwork so your insurance will cover the cost of your visit. For example, many insurance carriers will not pay for your visit unless we have received a written referral from your primary care physician.

Patients are seen only on an appointment basis, and we request that you call in advance so that we may reserve time for you. Kindly notify us if you will be unable to keep your scheduled appointment, so the time might be made available to someone else.

Please bring all of your medications (or a list of your medications and doses), your driver's license, insurance cards and any copies you may have of your recent blood tests, x-rays or endoscopy reports.

We make every effort to see our patients on time. On occasion, however, there are emergencies at the hospital or delays in the endoscopy lab. We will keep you informed when such problems arise.

Our Riverdale and East Point offices are open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
